Event Information

Clyde Chorus is a three-day music event celebrating Glasgow’s 850th anniversary, featuring performances across multiple venues along the River Clyde. It highlights Glasgow’s vibrant music scene and celebrates its status as a UNESCO City of Music.

Clyde Chorus runs from Thursday 29th to Saturday 31st May 2025. Events will take place at SEC Armadillo, SWG3 Warehouse, The Savings Bank, Box Hub Vennel, The Hilton Garden Inn City Centre, and Pearce Institute. Please check the What’s On Guide for dates, times and to purchase tickets.

The lineup includes Nathan Evans & The Saint Phnx Band, Scottish Opera, Nina Nesbitt, Lucia & the Best Boys, Kerr Mercer, Static, Lizzie Reid, Triple 01’s, Liberation, Paque, The Lou Hickey Band, Sarah Forrest, Mini Manoeuvres and so many more, with more artists still to be announced. Clyde Chorus will showcase a variety of genres, including indie, jazz, pop, house, rap, Celtic, classical, and more. Special showcases include Celtic Connections, Glasgow Mela & Glasgow International Jazz Festival plus Govan Music Festival, and musicians from Àrd-Sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu.

Ticket & Entry

Tickets to all events are priced at £8.50 + booking fees, or £4.50 + booking fees for concessions to ensure as many people as possible can join the celebrations and to manage venue capacities.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 7th March via the relevant event pages on the What’s On Guide.

Concession tickets are available for children, students and pensioners. Please check the relevant event page on the What’s On Guide for age restrictions at each of the shows.

Yes, each venue has its own lineup and ticketed sessions. Be sure to check the What’s On Guide and purchase tickets accordingly.

Some tickets may be available on the day, but we strongly recommend purchasing in advance to avoid disappointment.

While most performances require a ticket, there may be additional free activities happening around the city as part of Glasgow 850 celebrations. More information of free events will be announced soon.

Accessibility & Travel

Yes! Clyde Chorus is committed to accessibility:

  • BSL interpretation will be available at select performances, marked on the What’s On Guide
  • All venues are wheelchair accessible.

Some venues may have limited parking nearby, but we encourage attendees to use public transport, walk, or cycle where possible.

Event Experience

Yes! Clyde Chorus includes family-focused morning sessions designed for music lovers of all ages. Some shows have age restrictions, so please check specific event details on the What’s On Guide.

Bring your ticket (depending on the venue, these could be digital tickets or print at home tickets so, check your Ticketmaster/Ticketweb account for more detail), ID (if attending an age restricted event), comfortable clothing, and enthusiasm!

We also recommend checking the weather and dressing accordingly if you are moving between venues.
